Climate South East engaged Ems2 to help with data assimilation following the roadshow Make Money from Climate Change, and later engaged Ems2 to organise and present a launch workshop at the Said Business School for the Accountants project (business resilience to extreme weather) in conjunction with UKCIP.

Task: Project management services: created, developed and rolled out "Make Money from Climate Change" - Oxfordshire county-wide inspirational workshops on climate change business innovation
Timeframe: 2008/2009
Services Provided
- Liaised with business representatives across 13 towns in Oxfordshire to provide case studies of business innovation using climate change as a focus
- Created a series of workshops, tailored to each venue with local guest speakers and an expert panel including UKCIP, Envirowise, Amey Plc and Business Link
- Ems2 coordinated the workshops, invitations and ran each evening including presenting the overview and faciliatating the Q&A section
- Gathered feedback from delegates - events engaged with over 300 businesses (mostly Small to Medium Sized)
Special Requirements
- Ran the workshops on a very tight budget
- Used contacts, business discounts and sponsorship to ensure good county-wide coverage
